March TUSAL

Hey guys!

It is TUSAL time again!  Here are my orts for this month.

Pretty measly.

But I did work on lots of projects this month.

First up is The Gift by Blackberry Lane.  This month I finished the little lamb and started on the verse and filled in the sides.  And after yesterday's stitching on it all I have left to do is finish 2 and a half rows of words and the top of the border.  This will definitely be a finish next month!

Next up is February from the Joyful World SAL by The Snowflower Diaries.  Last month all I had stitched was the border and the letter F.  I hope to get this one finished this month too.

ABC's Of Parenting by LizzieKate is closing in on a finish also.  Last month I was at "take time" and part way through the month I adjusted my rotation to start stitching on this every other day.  I am stitching on it today and I have a guild meeting tonight as long as the weather holds out so I am hoping to get close to finishing it.

I did have one finish this month which was Rascal Raccoon by Brooke's Books which is part of her Advent Animals freebies.  I have yet to start on the next one and as much as I am loving these cuties I think I need a break.  But I really want to have them finished for Christmas this year so I am going to suffer through.

I spent 1 and half days stitching on Pitbulls from FlumpkinsXstitch and managed about half a column.  I hope to finish that column this month and that will make a page finish on this project.

A new start this month was Deepest Love by Mirabilia.  I put it aside to finish ABC's Of Parenting and I am hoping to bring it back into the rotation once ABC's is finished.

And last but not least was Save The Stitches.  I finished Block 8!  I so can't wait to have this finished and hanging on my wall.

Thanks everyone for coming to visit with me!

Happy Stitching!

Why are there not more hours in the day?

Hiya!

Well I made it through the time change...just barely though.  My body is starting to accept the new time of the day I have to wake up, it put up a good fight last week though.

Now onto the stitching!

I finally finished the little lamb on The Gift by Blackberry Lane.  Now just to finish the border and the verse and it will be all done.

I added a few leaves and stems to February on The Joyful World SAL.

And just yesterday I finished another row on ABC's Of Parenting by LizzieKate.  Only 2 rows to go on this one!

Yesterday was a pretty special day, Thomas turned 4!  I can't believe my baby is 4 years old!  He is full of beans and smart as a whip!  He loves to jump out and surprise people and is quick to give hugs.  He thinks there is no one like his big brother and takes every chance he gets to annoy his big brother also.  His favorite things are lego, WiiU, peanut butter on toast, and chips.  He likes to sneak out to the living room at night to sleep on the couch because he doesn't like the dark and he can't reach the light switch in his room.  He thinks I am magical because I catch him trying to do things he isn't allowed to and can't understand how I knew what he was doing.  He loves to snuggle with his dad in the evenings and me in the mornings.  He eats all of his great-grandmothers cookies when we go visit, and he loves to play with his best friend Elly, his cousin and he told me he doesn't need a girlfriend because he has Elly.  And she loves him just as much.

Happy Birthday Tom-O.  We love you lotsa, lotsa, lotsa!!

Some more progress and a new purchase!

Hiya!

So Brayden and I didn't make it to the embroidery event last weekend.  We were just having an off day and by that I mean there was attitudes flying and it was a wiser decision to just stay home and let everyone cool off.  So that is what we did and the rest of our weekend was so much better for it.  We had Brayden's parent-teacher interview which was wonderful, he is doing great in school and then on Saturday we went for a little road trip which I will talk about later.

I put a few more stitches in on ABC's Of Parenting.  I have decided for sure that I am going to stitch on this every other day until it is finished.

The Gift by Blackberrylane is getting there.  I am stitching on it today and I am going to get that lamb finished no matter what!

February from the Joyful World SAL is coming along slowly but that is how all my stitching goes so this one is no different.  I took this with me on our road trip last Saturday and managed to get a little more stitched on the grass.

So now to our road trip.  There was a farm show happening in Moncton, NB so off we went early Saturday morning.  I am not one for early morning especially to go to a farm show but there is a stitching store in Moncton so that is what got me out of bed so early.

Here are my boys enjoying the tractors.

And this was my purchase at Because You Count.  It is the Mothers And Daughters sampler by The Victoria Sampler.  I simply cannot wait to start this but as I was sorting the threads I noticed that I was missing 2 colors so I am going to have to wait until they come in.

Hope you all are well!

Happy Stitching!

Overdue update

Hi guys!

Lots of progress pictures to share today!

Rascal Raccoon had a couple more colors added to him the last day I stitched on him.

On The Gift by Blackberry Lane I filled in the lamb a little more, I hope to finish the lamb the next day I stitch on it.

I added half a column to Pitbulls.  This is the only column on this page so I should have a page finish very soon on this.

On the February block for the Joyful World SAL I finished the rest of the border and I got started on the fun stuff on the inside.

And I had a new start!  Deepest Love by Mirabilia.  I am stitching this for a SAL over on the Google+ SAL Blog.

Here was my first days progress.

And this was my second day progress.  I am so in love with the colors in this!

And last but not least I finished another row on ABC's Of Parenting.  Just 3 rows to go!  I am thinking about making this my focus piece and stitching on it every other day just to get it finished.

Tomorrow Brayden and I are going to a little get together with the seniors in the community and the 4H club to learn some embroidery.  I am way more excited to do this than Brayden!  I will try to take some pictures.

Thanks for stopping by!

Happy Stitching!

Another Save The Stitches block finished

Hiya!

I finished block 8 of Save The Stitches.  I really should stitch on this more, I can't wait until it is finished!

I almost finished the little lamb on The Gift by Blackberry Lane.  This one should go much faster now, all the tedious parts are over.

It is foggy and wet here today...I am ready for summer sun and warm days.  They can't come soon enough!

Thanks for stopping by!

Happy Stitching!
