There were also 2 other projects I worked on but they are hopefully going to be Christmas presents so I don't want to ruin the surprise.

Haircut day!

Hello!

Today was finally haircut day.  Please don't judge me on the state of my children's hair. :)

As you can see they were not very excited.  Especially Brayden.

Here is my wild man Thomas with his new doo.  He sat like a little angel while getting his hair cut.  A lady even commented on how well behaved he was.  And then he was done getting his hair cut and the poop hit the fan.  He was crawling behind chairs and he didn't want to wait for Brayden to get his cut and was yelling that he didn't like me because he had to wait.  So he got to sit on a time out and was much better behaved after a little break from reality.

And here is Brayden doing a silly face.  We never went though any tantrums like Thomas does with Brayden so I am still trying to figure that whole part of parenting out.

I have put a few more stitches in on ABC's Of Parenting which I really need to get finished as I need this hanging in my house as soon as possible.  You know so I don't put Thomas on a permanent time out!

We have a new little stitcher!

Hello stitchy friends!

My boy decided the other night he wanted to stitch so I got him a piece of aida and gave him a little bag of odd and ends threads and let him go to town.  He has since picked up his stitching a few different times and seems to enjoy it.

Meanwhile I have been working on my Brooke's Books Advent Animal for this month, Fitzwilliam Frog.  I am losing steam on these little guys but Brayden really wants to be able to use them next Christmas so I will keep stitching them.  They also seem to get more involved as the months go by so maybe that is part of the problem too.

And I put a few more stitched in on ABC's Of Parenting by Lizzie Kate.  Still loving this and can't wait to have it hanging up in my house as a reminder to be as good of a mom as I can be.

I hope you all are getting lots of stitching done.  The weather has gotten chilly the last few days so I hope that kicks my stitchy bug right in the behind and I am able to finish a few things I have on the go that are Christmas presents in time for Christmas this year instead of next.

Happy Stitching!

A little update

Hello out there!

Not much stitching going on here but a little bit.

I am up to the letter D on ABC's of Parenting.

And a new start on a freebie from The Drawn Thread First Snow.  It is pretty slow going, all those little snowflakes are smyrna crosses so they take twice as long to do.

I hope you are all well!

My 400th post!

Hello again!

Can you imagine that I have posted here 400 times?!  I am shocked you all haven't gotten sick of me by now :)

So I have started on Fitzwilliam Frog from Brooke's Books Advent Animals.  He is #11 in the series and I can't wait to have them all done.

I also added the hand-dyed lace trim I bought from XJudesign to my Halloween Spooky Sampler by The Frosted Pumpkin Stitchery.  I am now going to call this one completely finished!

I hope you are all having a wonderful weekend!

Happy Stitching!

New start and a couple pirates

Hello again!

I just realized that I shared this project on my TUSAL post but didn't actually tell you all that I had started it.  This is ABC's of Parenting by Lizzie Kate.  I started in on October 24 and am stitching it as part of a Lizzie Kate SAL.

I am a little late with this picture but here are my 2 loves on Halloween.  They both went into the costume store with different ideas of what they wanted to be but once they saw the hook and sword and gun it was a done deal.  They had a great time out trick-or-treating and I am still tired from all the excitement ha!

Hope you all are well!

Happy Stitching!
