1st clue is finished!

I finished the first part of The Mysterious Halloween Town last night while watching Big Brother.  I am so confused this season how everything is going to work with 2 heads of household but is should be fun to watch!

After I finished this I started another page on my nephew's Pitbulls cross stitch.  I will show a picture when I get a bit more done.

Happy Stitching!!

Trick or treat!

How cute is this?  My poor scarecrow is without a face until I see my sister this evening to get some thread off of her.

Please no more toys!!

Below is a picture of my living room, it was taken by my 4 year old without my knowledge.  If he sees my camera unattended, he is snapping pictures.  Too bad he didn't tidy up before.

Where he is sitting is where I do my stitching.  All that mess creativity is an unending battle so I just block it out with my Q-snaps and whatever I am stitching on to save my sanity.  And come on, how cute are those little toes !?!

Last night was Brayden's preschool graduation, here he is with his teachers receiving his certificate.

Today I finished another page on Lightning McQueen.

Here is a closeup.  HOW BORING!  Brown, brown, brown and black.  I need some color in my life so I have started The Frosted Pumpkins Mysterious Halloween Town Club.  I only have about 10 stitches in but it is so cute!

Teacher's gifts

I bought 2 of these boxes at Micheals for Teacher's gifts.

I used a couple of the princesses from The Once Upon A Time Sampler, but changed their hair color to match Brayden's teachers.

Then I searched online for a teacher quote and this was the first one I found and I loved it.  I used this Cross stitch writing tool to make the pattern.

A few apples from the Snow White part of Once Upon A Time.

And their initials.  Now all that is left is to varnish and get a few goodies to put in the boxes.  I really hope they like them.

Here is a little progress on Cars.  The link will take you to the Etsy shop I bought it from though it looks like her last sale was in September of 2013.

I think I am a little over half way done of this page.  It is S L O W going!

And here is my littlest having a rare rest to watch tv for a minute.  Brayden has started calling him Tom-O and I have been finding myself doing the same, and I was the one who said "nobody call him Tommy or Tom it is Thomas".  Oh well Tom-O suits him just fine.
Happy Stitching!

Half-way there

I just put the last stitch in the princess's crown.  This marks the half-way point!  Back to Lightning McQueen until The Mysterious Halloween Club Town comes out on the 19th.  Eeeek!!!  I can't wait!

2 Princesses

Today we had my niece's 1st birthday party.  I have never seen so much pink and leopard print all in once place in my whole life!  We had a great time and now she is all ready for the summer!  Happy Birthday my little Elly belly!!

This month on The Once Upon A Time Sampler is The Princess and the Pea.  It is super cute and I am so happy that I got caught up.  And since I caught up a day or so ahead of the next pattern I worked on Brayden's Cars cross stitch for a couple of days.  I spent probably 4 to 5 hours on this.  Can't you tell?  Don't feel too bad because neither can I!

But I guess when you put the before picture next to it you can see that I did do something!  I will be so happy when this page and the next one of this pattern is done because they are pretty well all black.  YUCK!

Thanks for reading and Happy Stitching!!
